    Decoupage is a kind of art work which decorates the surface material with paper cut-out. From attaching paper cut-out, it looks like actual painting on the surface material. 

       In short, it is just paper work. Decoupage work is different from Paper Mache that you cut a lot of small pieces of paper and attach on the material to create a new picture. Decoupage is to cut the whole picture and to attach entirely on the material.

     1. Go to Jatujak market (this step is just for people who live in Thailand ^ ^). Let's go directly to handmade material zone.  There are many decoupage material shops for all the material you need. For others,who do not live in Thailand,I suggest you to go to handcraft shop. I'm so sure there are many materials for your decoupage work.

７things you need for decoupage work!!

•  Decoupage glue 
•  Decoupage varnish
•  Decoupage paper (choose your favorite)
•  Sponge
•  Paint brush
•  Scissors
•  Bag  (or any material)

           Then go back home !!

     2. Cut your decoupage paper to suit to your bag. There are 3 layers on decoupage paper. We are going to use just the first printed layer.

 

       3. Apply decoupage glue on the bag. After the glue dries completely, place the decoupage paper on the object. 

   
     4. Then use the wet sponge to brush softly on the decoupage paper. Wait until the paper completely attaches to the bag.

      5. Next step, uses the paintbrush to apply decoupage vanish on the whole bag.

6.  Well, the last thing you should do is to go grab a camera and take photo of your first decoupage work in your life. :)
