                 Penfriends?!?? Some of us may be confused ..what penfriends is. I realize Penfriends is a pretty old word. Because of the old style, letters, that people use to contact each other, this word "penfriend" was created. Anyway, snail mail is used instead of penfriend in the meaning of sending letters today. 

                However, Penfriends is still use for calling the friend on cyber although they send email or use video chat rather than using pen to write to each other. Still, Interplas also need you to register as a member. You can view anyone profile and if their profile interest you. You can send a massage to them. Mostly, the member is students.

"AsiaTique" Brandnew Shopping Place

 

Hi guys ! Today I have a new place to share with you.  It has just opened recently and I have chance to visit.  Have you ever heard “AsiaTique?”  Yeah, I’m going to talk about this place.  

 

     

      
            Last Friday I went to AsiaTique with friends, and it was awesome ! It is a night market and opens since the evening till the night.  This place is built as an outdoor market and located near Chaopraya river.  You can see the unique buildings.  Many of them are built from blocks.  There are many shops like clothes, accessories, souvenir, and different kinds of restaurants.  In my opinion, I feel like the stuff at AsiaTique are similar with JJ market, but the place is decorated more beautiful and interesting. 
 
And because it is a night market, the atmosphere, the illuminations make this place very wonderful and
attractive.
 

            I think AsiaTique is a place of all age of people – kids, teenagers, or adults.  Most of teenagers will go to buy some stuff, and it is like a new meeting place of them.  Adults usually go to the restaurant and have a drink.  So, it is a good place for everybody to chill out. If you are interested to go there, it is very easy.  You can go to Taksin train station and then you have to get on ferry to the destination.  It takes about 5-10 minutes on the ferry.  On the way, you can enjoy the view of Chaopraya river at late evening and a lot of different ferries.
 
           This was the first time I travelled by a very big ferry, and it was exciting.  Moreover, it is free ! You don’t need to pay for it, but one thing I want to tell you is be careful while standing on the ferry.  The water is very rapid.  Anyway, it is worth going.  AsiaTique gives you a different feel from other markets.  You should explore yourself ! A picture is worth a thousand words !! Have fun !!

“Bonjour! My pals” Last week, I presented you guys the film you should avoid, but this week I prepared you the film that will make your mouth watering while you guys are watching it. With the beautiful soundtracks, great actress, “Meryl Streep”, and pleasant sceneries of Paris combine with good story that based on two real stories of Julia Child (Celebrity Chef), starred by Meryl Streep and Julie Powell, simple woman in New York. This film can easily stands on my favorite film, guaranteed by winning Golden Globe Awards in Best Actress of Motion Picture Musical or Comedy and nominated for Academy Awards in Best Actress too.

I think this film be successful because it is a real story and can inspire people through both Julie and Julia's life. Julie Powell is a simple woman who bored of her job, a call center officer, and wants to challenge her life. One day she comes up with an idea of writing a blog (like what we are doing…) with a challenge of cooking all 524 recipes in Julia Child’s cookbook in 365 days!

Throughout this film, it contrasts Julia Child’s life of cooking between Julie Powell’s life of cooking in the different time period. The way Julie Powell cooks Child’s recipes in the apartment with lack of kitchen utensil and the way Julia Child starts learning cooking in that period can really present the fascination in French cuisine and totally make me hungry.

Anyone who is the food lover will definitely loves this film, but if you are not the food lover, you may change your mind and maybe want to start cooking somehow. Also, Your blog will maybe change your life someday….Who knows?!
